Town of Salem is a pixel art/fantasy game where you can play as a Witch, the town guard, and an Angel. The town has been cursed by the Witch and the only way to remove the curse is to kill the Witch. The witch has left town and has gone into hiding somewhere so she could return to murder the remaining town. Your job is to track down the witch and kill her. All of the town is in the same position, broken down and without hope. It’s up to you to find the witch, save the town, and raise a family.

A Coven is you town’s secret weapon! With a Coven in your town you can strike fear into the heart of your foes and protect your town from disaster. The Coven will arrive in your town at dawn so you will need to be ready. You can bring friends into the Coven as you wish but once it’s active it’s yours to control.

New Game Modes
Lovers Mode – This new game mode will link random players together in the bonds of love. If your Lover dies you will die as well. Keep your Lover alive at all costs! Will you ride of into the sunset, or will you die of heartbreak?

Coven Roles
Hex Master – Master of the art of spell slinging whose attacks won’t take effect until all members of the town are hexed, then a devastating blow will be dealt.
Poisoner – Poison is the trademark of this witch. A skilled herbalist with the knowledge to mix slow killing poisons that give her plenty of time to flee the scene.
Potion Master – A powerful alchemist with the ability to heal, reveal, and attack a player! It will take time to brew your potions again, so choose wisely.
Medusa – A snake haired monster gifted with a gaze that turns people to stone leaving no trace of who they were.
Necromancer – A failed Retributionist scorned by the town, they use their powers to exact their revenge!
Coven Leader – The Witch we all know and love has assembled a Coven of her own and uses her voodoo powers to lead the Coven to victory against all who would oppose them.

Intro

Here in Salem, witches have been doing whatever it is they do. It's fine, you've been doing it for centuries and you aren't going to stop now. You- better check your spelling, your parentage and your compass because your trusty broom stick is not going to be enough against the Stitches. They have discovered this town of yours.

Perhaps it is fitting that you now exist only in the memories of the survivors of your town, but this isn't your story to tell. You are the Game Master. Sometimes players and GMs narrate and sometimes they battle as in a tabletop game, but you design and you play.

Sometimes you design how you play. Not today though. Tonight you play with the Coven.

Two different groups of players who want their story told.

There are those who wish to relive the bloodiest rites of their cult or to strip away from the minds of the unwitting corpses the memories of their experience. Those who wish to hide from the world, those who wish to lock themselves away from the masses, those who wish to find a place to call home.

And there is a woman. The tenured faculty of New Salem Academy. Her name is Sophia Hawthorne, and her role is to ensure that all those innocents who exist in the minds of the murderous sect only remember the sins of the coven's past, not the mistakes of the present.

Poisoner

A player with this ability will cast a powerful poison on any member of the town. A small symbol of the Poisoner will show up on the minimap. The Poisoner can cast 2 spells at a time. Note that during the time this poison is active, it can kill.
