VB.NET: Is there any way to call a method in a different form from a button click?

I am using VB.NET and I have a ‘form1’ with some buttons in it. And then I have another ‘form2’ that has an event on it. The form2 has a private method that I would like to call from the button that’s on the form1.
I’ve tried this but it didn’t work:
