The adMob for Windows Phone 7 package was developed to provide Windows Phone 7 developers an opportunity to monetize their free applications. The output of the project is a User Control that can be dropped into any Silverlight page.
You can drop in the control into your Windows Phone 7 application and the ads will simply appear.
Currently, the following is supported:
GPS – yes, the app will fetch the location and send it to adMob for geographically sensitive ads.
UserAgent – believe it or not, getting it is really difficult on this initial release of Windows Phone 7 and requires an ugly hack to get it – adMob requires it.
External IP address – another thing that is impossible on Windows Phone 7, and another thing that requires a hack – adMob requires it.
Text ads – currently the control just does unobtrusive text ads. I think this should be the default, as I don’t think phone users want epilepsy inducing flashing gifs

The adMob for Windows Phone 7 Torrent Download package contains an ad unit (standalone XAP file) and an in-app advertisement server (ADM.XAP) that can be dropped into any Windows Phone 7 application.
The ad unit is a quick and easy way to apply the flexibility of the adMob platform to your application. 

 
If you add the ad unit to your Windows Phone 7 application, the adMob for Windows Phone 7 package will do the rest for you. 
When the application first launches, it will display a welcome screen informing the user that they can monetize their application and letting them know how to do so. After the welcome screen, the app will start serving ads and also get a unique identifier. 
This identifier is used to associate the user’s ad impressions with this unique identifier (and the user). If the user closes the app or selects a different application for it to run in, the ad impressions will be lost for this unique identifier. 

 
The Ad Supported package provides functionality for setting up your ad-supporting application, creating ad units (standard, interstitial, etc), loading the ad unit, and serving ads to them. 
The ad units are identified by an ad id that starts with com.admob. 

 
Typically, the ad supported application is created by dropping a Ad Unit Bar (com.admob.binlay.admob) into your XAML page. The Ad Unit Bar lets the developer indicate the desired ad unit type (standalone or interstitial). 
In addition to setting the desired ad unit type, the developer can set additional properties of the ad unit such as:

 
1. mutableUrl – yes, set to true to use the new http protocol
2. id – the id of the ad unit
3. adUnitId – if the mutableUrl is set to true, this is the id of the ad network request
4. credentials – an object containing all the necessary credentials to access the advertising servers

If the mutableUrl is set to false (the default value is false), the developer must give the identifier of the ad unit for each page that displays an ad by setting the id or adUnitId property of the corresponding ad object. 

 
When the application requests to load the ad, it will pass in the ad unit identifier.

Crowdstriking is a great way to crowdfund. And though there is a lot of information out there about writing a great grant, I’m wondering what advice would be pertinent for crowdsourcing for a mission trip to Guatemala.

1. How do you start up your journey to Guatemala? Do you need to tell people or is the public aware that you are raising money for a trip?

The first step is to reach out to a local missionary organization, and ask them if they know anything about a child sponsorship program in Guatemala. Many missionary organizations have staff who are familiar with developing community programs in countries like Guatemala. They can guide you in finding projects that you would be interested in supporting. For this reason, it makes sense to get started contacting organizations before posting about your project on social media.

2. What would you need to do before writing a grant application? Do you simply write one and ask people to donate money?

The first step is to estimate how much you need to raise. If you only need $500 to send a child to camp, it would be better to write a grant application rather than a crowdfunded project, because a grant application is more detailed and it doesn’t leave your donors waiting for the money to arrive. A grant application will also be accepted by nonprofit grantors, such as the National Endowment for the Arts and the Discipleship Network. A crowdfunded grant project doesn’t have that limitation.

3. What factors should you consider as you develop your project?

The last step in developing your project is to write a proposal that helps you to decide on what you will include in your project. Make sure to include a financial plan (how much money do you need?) as well as a

I’ve been playing with the AdMob apk on Windows Phone 7 and I would definitely use it if it came on WP7. My only problem is that my GPS location services are turned off on my phone. It’s really a hassle to turn them on. AdMob requires a location to exist, but it doesn’t let you put a location into the location property. So it checks every time you add the control but it can’t save this information so it displays an ad to all users.
